OK. Since my mom has been doing such a lousy job of keeping this blog up to date, I've decided to take it over for myself. Watch this space for profound thoughts from me (the best dog in the universe)

About Me
Kay Stephenson
Kay Stephenson is a freelance writer and fiber artist living in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband, Mark, and her dog, Lady. She began with knitting at the age of seven and never stopped learning new crafts and techniques. After a rewarding marketing career in high tech, she has returned to that early love. Working with a wide range of fibers and techniques she creates one of a kind art, home décor, accessories and house wares. She twitters as @StitchingTimes and blogs at www.StitchingTimes.blogspot.com. Go there to find links to buy original patterns, and her handmade items.
Though I don’t have formal training as a veterinarian or a trainer, I’ve been involved with dogs (in the way any really active parent has been involved with the PTA and the rearing of their children) for several years. I helped to establish the first off-leash dog park in the city of Atlanta, and as a result have consulted with many trainers, veterinarians, and animal behaviorists over the years. I wrote a regular column for PETHOUSE while that publication was in existence, and have probably read 90% of the top books published on the subjects of training and animal behavior. That being said, what I write here is based on my own observations with a small set of dogs and dog owners. It should be taken as anecdotal – not science or fact.
